What I told Jack:

The diagram with the cycle of sun -> chloroplast -> mitochondria is a large portion of the test.

Being able to label all the parts of the chloroplast and mitochondria (and what is going in/coming out at each step), then use those to answer questions is also key.

What is the difference between ATP and ADP?

What does oxygen production tell you? What if something is producing carbon dioxide?

Why is the sun so important?

What is fermentation? Why does it occur? When does it occur?

What is glycolysis? Why does it occur? When does it occur?

How much ATP is made in each stage of glycolysis -> cellular respiration?

What is a producer?

If you can answer these questions well, I think you will be very successful tomorrow.

Test Tuesday

ATP and Energy

Cellular Respiration

Photosynthesis

Fermentation

email me if you have a question - I'll be answering them until about 8pm.

Spectacularly Complicated Egg Lab Grading

Egg Lab Graded as Follows:

WASL Score = Points
4 = 30
3 = 26
2 = 22
1 = 18
0 = 15 (still have the lab, but missed the WASL points)
no write up = 0

Conclusion Points = Points
4 = 5
3 = 4
2 = 3
1 = 2
0 = 1 (has conclusion)
no conclusion = 0

Egg Lab = 35 points

WASL Scoring worth up to 4 points

Separately - Interpretations worth 5 points.  Recorded if in your lab write up, will be part of your next notebook check otherwise.
