Summer Update

This is my 2nd week at the Hutch's SEP program - which has been a lot of work but overall fantastic for bettering my understanding of biotech.

Through tomorrow I am shadowing a researcher at Amgen who is working with glycolysis.  Yes, glycolysis.  It exists in the real world!

I also had the opportunity to visit the sequencing group (yes, they figure out the order of As, Ts, Cs, and Gs) and the antibodies group.  I am going to spend some time in antibodies this morning as they do ELISAs.

Hope you're having an excellent and safe summer!
